4 Things to Expect at the 40 to None Summit

Our 40 to None Summit is a national gathering of awesome people doing awesome things to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. It’s all happening October 3-4 in Philadelphia, PA!

The Summit includes interactive sessions, performances, action planning breakouts, and networking opportunities. And now, for the first time, the Summit is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886763828-1636) for 10 continuing education contact hours! What’s not to love?

If you haven’t registered yet, don’t worry, there’s still time! If you have, get excited! Here are four things to expect at the 2017 40 to None Summit:

1. Expect more youth collaboration.

We’re proud to say that this year’s Summit is being co-produced by Aurora Lloyd, our 2017 True Production Fellow. Aurora has taken a leading role guiding the Summit both on and off the stage. We’ll be closing our first day of programming with a graduation ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of all our True Fellows!

2. Expect more breakout sessions.

Breakouts are back, due to popular demand! And now they’re organized into tracks to help you build upon your Summit experience and engage in the topics most important to you. This year, we have four tracks: Advocacy, Community Organizing, Program Development, and Youth Collaboration. Check out the full agenda here!

3. Expect more networking.

You wanted more networking time, so we gave it to you! This year, you’ll have dedicated networking and action planning time throughout our two-day agenda to give you opportunities to connect with others and share ideas.

4. Expect the unexpected.

This year, we’ll be sharing exclusive announcements throughout the Summit that only 40 to None Network app users will receive. Not only that – the app lists in-depth session details not included in our print program. The good news? It’s totally free and available for iPhone and Android. If you’re a 40 to None Network member, simply login using your Network username and password. If you’re not a member, join for free here!

See you at the Summit!
