What is the Impact Summit?

True Colors United's Impact Summit is a unique two-day conversation that brings together awesome people doing awesome things to end youth homelessness by focusing on the unique experiences of LGBTQ young people and all highly impacted youth. Join fellow advocates, service providers, funders, government officials, and of course, young people for interactive sessions, performances, action planning breakouts, and networking opportunities.

We’re proud to share that the Impact Summit is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Therefore, project administrative funds awarded under the CoC and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Programs may be used to attend the Conference.

Who's behind the Impact Summit?

Co-founded by Cyndi Lauper in 2008, True Colors United works to end youth homelessness by generating solutions that meet the unique needs of LGBTQ young people. Our philosophy is that if we can ensure that services are safe for and affirming of the most impacted young people, we can be confident that they’ll be safe and affirming for everyone.

You might remember our old name: the True Colors Fund. Our new name – True Colors United – is all about celebrating the different strengths that different people bring to the table, and applying those strengths toward one united goal: preventing and ending youth homelessness.
