Safe and Supported: Cincinnati’s Plan to Prevent LGBTQ Youth Homelessness
Abstract:
Safe and Supported is a community project with the goal of preventing and ending LGBTQ youth homelessness in Hamilton County, Ohio. This project began out of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) Youth Homelessness Prevention Initiative, led by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Lighthouse Youth Services and Strategies to End Homelessness have partnered with a coalition of community leaders to plan how the community will address the issue of LGBTQ youth homelessness in Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
