Dana received their Certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania’s School for Social Policy and Practice and is completing distance coursework in Social Justice Studies through UMass. Previously the Programs Manager at SMYAL, they have a background in youth development with a focus on creating equitable and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth of color. At True Colors United, Dana provides technical assistance in-person and remotely to foster youth collaboration and equity within systems committed to ending youth homelessness. Dana’s lived experience of youth homelessness, as well as their belief in housing as both a human right and healthcare, informs and inspires their work. They live with their partner in Silver Spring, Maryland. Outside of work, they enjoy hiking, HGTV, farmers’ markets, and cartoons from the 90s.
