We’re excited to share that Baltimore, MD; Columbus, OH; Hennepin County, MN; Louisville, KY; and Palm Beach County, FL have launched 100-Day Challenges to accelerate local efforts to end youth homelessness.
Organized by A Way Home America, the Rapid Results Institute, and HomeBase and supported by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the 100 Day Challenge inspires innovative approaches to help young people find safe and stable housing. These communities join Washington State, which is nearing the finish line of its own challenge, having housed over 500 young people in the past 90 days.
We’re proud to say that representatives from the National Youth Forum on Homelessness will be following these communities over the next 100 days to report on their progress and lessons learned.
Last year, Austin, Cleveland, and Los Angeles each completed a 100-Day Challenge on Youth Homelessness, achieving big progress. Each community exceeded their 100-Day goal, ending the experience of homelessness for a total of 428 young people.
