The first-ever Cyndi Lauper’s Damn Gala was this past Sunday, October 9. And we threw some party – all to benefit our work to end lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth homelessness in America.
The night was a celebration of the work we’ve accomplished together so far, and a way for us to recognize the leaders both young and old who’ve achieved it. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to the youth we serve and our mission to create a world in which they can be their true selves.
The evening featured awesome performances from Cyndi, Jason Mraz, Sara Ramirez, and more – as well as speeches from young people, True Colors Fund staff, Board Members Sara Ramirez and Carson Kressley, and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro!
