Back in September, three communities, Austin, Cleveland, and Los Angeles, launched a 100-Day Challenge to accelerate work to end youth homelessness in their cities.

The 100-Day Challenge is being organized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, A Way Home America, the Rapid Results Institute, and local leaders from these communities to inspire bold and creative ways to help young people find safe and stable housing. Austin, Cleveland, and Los Angeles were chosen to participate due to the innovative approaches currently underway to addressing youth homelessness in their cities.

Two members of the National Youth Forum on Homelessness, Terrance Walker and 2016 40 of the 40 honoree Phoebe VanCleefe, are following the three communities as they accomplish their 100-Day Challenges. In an episode of the Center for Social Innovation’s T3 Podcast, Terrance and Phoebe shared their reflections on the launch event in Austin and discuss ways to prioritize youth and young adult voice.
