On Sunday, June 25, the True Colors Fund and our family, friends, and supporters marched in NYC Pride!
The sun was shining, spirits were high, and the crowds were HUGE. It seemed like all of New York City came out to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) pride and deliver a call for equality! This year, we marched with Citi as their nonprofit partner to raise awareness about LGBT youth homelessness.
Pride 2017 was bigger than ever.
Where to begin? Our Co-Founder Cyndi Lauper was honored as a 2017 Logo Trailblazer for her work towards LGBT Equality and delivered some words of wisdom on CBS Sunday Morning. We checked in on our True Fellows and marched to raise awareness of LGBT youth homelessness at the Equality March in D.C.! Did we mention Board Member Sara Ramirez and True Fellow Aurora Lloyd spoke at the march? Pretty damn awesome.
