Please join with us today in taking urgent action on federal fiscal year 2018 funding. The continuing resolution that funds the federal government expires on 1/19/18 – just a few short days away! That means we have a closing window to tell Congress that federal funding for runaway and homeless youth responses must be included in 2018.

Please take 10 minutes to call Congress today. Stand up for the 1 in 10 young adults and 1 in 30 youth who experience some form of homelessness each year. It only takes a few minutes to reach out, and it’s super easy to do. Click here to call or email your representative.

We’re joining with A Way Home America and partners across the youth homelessness movement in urging Congress to support fiscal year 2018 funding for three programs in particular, including:

  • $165 million for Runaway and Homeless Youth Act Programs
  • $2.6 billion for McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants
  • $85 million for the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program

While we know that youth homelessness is a serious problem, we believe that it is also a solvable one. People like you are making tremendous strides every day toward ending youth homelessness in the U.S. Help us continue the momentum today, and make your voice heard!
