Have you seen the recently released guidance regarding housing transgender folks in Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded shelters? We have, and we are hopeful that this guidance will help ensure that transgender young people are safe and respected when seeking shelter! If you haven’t heard of the guidance yet, check it out!
The True Colors Fund and the National LGBTQ Task Force are collaborating on feedback for HUD and we need your help! We’d like to include first-hand experiences of providers in our feedback.
