Help Shape #OurTomorrow, Today.

In the past decade, we’ve seen the number of states with marriage equality grow from one to 37. Representation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in media is higher than ever before. And polls are showing promising data on public acceptance and celebration. The movement for LGBT equality has come a long way.

But there’s still much to be done. In most of the country, people can still be fired because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. LGBT are still highly overrepresented in the population of young people experiencing homelessness in America. It’s up to us to ensure that the next decade sees the equality movement growing in leaps and bounds.

Our Tomorrow is an online space in which to share our hopes, fears, and dreams for the future. It captures the openness of internet discussion to provide a platform on which to build a movement that leaves no one behind. As we become more and more interconnected with the advancement of technology, it becomes imperative that we use the networks at our disposal to ensure that all voices are heard. Otherwise, can we really call it “equality?”
