Shared Vision of Liberation

As we approach the end of another remarkable year at True Colors United, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible impact we’ve made together in the fight to end youth homelessness. This year, we asked our staff why they are called to the work of TCU, and here are just a few powerful reasons:

“As someone with lived experience of homelessness and housing insecurity, but as well as a very proud and open queer trans person of color, being involved in the community that is supporting my own community is why I’m here and supporting this work” —Cai Carranza, Associate Director of Creative

“We understand that by working with the most marginalized communities we’re able to design solutions not just for them, but solutions that benefit all groups of people.” —Dana White, Senior Program Officer

“All of us have so many different compelling stories, have so many different compelling parts of who we are, and with that we have this shared vision of liberation unlike anything I’ve ever seen.” —Aleya Jones, Senior State Policy Officer

Your unwavering support has been the driving force behind our success, and we are immensely grateful for your commitment to creating a world where every young person is celebrated as a leader and changemaker. We hope you’ll continue to stand with us with a year-end donation to support our work to end youth homelessness and build a better future for all young people.

With Gratitude,

The staff of True Colors United
