Hal Trejo is a nonprofit leader with over six years of experience in project management, nonprofit administration, coalition building, and development. They have secured over $5 million in support of LGBTQ+ justice, housing access, and health equity across the state of Florida. As co-founder of an LGBTQ+ youth-serving nonprofit, Hal is mobilizing their hometown to ensure the safety and well-being of over 4,000 local queer youth. In their role as a Development Officer at True Colors United, they are honored to use their skills to resource the fight to end youth homelessness. In their free time, Hal likes snuggling with their dogs Bella and Juno, crocheting while wearing a dorky headlamp, and writing the queer sci-fi novel they’ve always wanted to read.
