Rachel Berard joined True Colors United in 2024 as the Director of Finance and Special Projects. Prior to joining TCU, she served as a Risk and Financial Advisory Manager in the Internal Audit division of Deloitte. While there, she focused on managing client projects to streamline and improve operational, financial, and compliance processes in order to maximize efficiency.

Rachel is an alumna of AmeriCorps VISTA, having supported the LGBTQ Task Force of Louisiana Court Appointed Special Advocates. She earned her Bachelors in International Studies and Political Science and Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. She lives in Chicago with her partner, Australian shepherd, and clownfish.
