Whimzi Ha leads the Emissary’s event planning and administrative work. A proud trans-woman living healthily while being diagnosed with HIV, Whimzi was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Whimzi got into this line of work because she experienced housing instability from the end of 2018 until early 2023. She is inspired in her work to make sure that no other young person goes through the traumatic experiences of housing instability and to empower other young folx that they have the power to make a difference within their lives and our communities.
