We’ve mailed our True Inclusion Toolboxes to service providers across the U.S.
Far too often, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people don’t get the support they need out of fear of discrimination. When service providers are welcoming, inclusive, and safe for LGBTQ youth, young people are more likely to get the support they need. Our True Inclusion Toolbox equips service providers with the tools they need to offer safe and affirming care for LGBTQ young people experiencing homelessness. Back in October, we sent 500 Toolboxes to providers across the country.
Each Toolbox contains training materials, safe space signage, pronoun buttons, suggested policies and procedures, and more.
