Impact Summit | September 4-5 | Washington, D.C.

We’re thrilled to announce that Dominique Jackson, star of FX’s POSE, will be speaking at our Impact Summit. POSE features the largest cast of transgender actors ever assembled in a scripted show, and in two seasons has already been nominated for two Golden Globes and six Emmys.

Dominique will be joined by our Program Director and POSE choreographer Twiggy Pucci Garçon for a conversation about chosen family and how it relates to LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. They’ll also be exploring what it means for a show like POSE to find mainstream success, particularly for the transgender community.

What is the Impact Summit?

The Impact Summit brings together real-life superheroes using their powers to end youth homelessness – that includes young people, service providers, advocates, funders, policymakers, and more! Regardless of who you are or where you’re from, the Impact Summit is designed to meet you where you’re at.

We will assemble in Washington, D.C. on September 4-5 for action-packed breakout sessions, performances, and networking opportunities. The Impact Summit focuses on big-picture change, direct service solutions, and restorative practices for our heroes on the front line. We’re not afraid to rewrite the rules by completely reimagining services and systems. By making services inclusive and safe for LGBTQ youth and all young people who are highly impacted by homelessness, everyone benefits.

We can’t wait to hear what Dominique and Twiggy have to say! Their convo will take place during the Thursday (9/5) lunch plenary at the Impact Summit.
